Getting to know me better
After completing his Matric, Sushil continued to study towards his four-year Higher Education Diploma at the then Transvaal College of Education where he graduated in 1997, and thereafter began his journey as a teacher. This was short lived as he then found an opportunity to enter the corporate world of business and grabbed it with both hands. During this time, Sushil worked at three different jobs for almost 2 years in order to supplement his income. Sushil grew through the ranks and climbed the corporate ladder into a Senior role as the Operations Executive for a national organization called Transman where he spent 20 years. He also served on the board of three other organisations: Transman SA, Vexolink and Smart Outsourced Solutions.

Sushil currently holds three National Diplomas in Training, Education and business Management and has also completed his Bachelor of Commerce degree (Cum Laude), specialising in Business Management.
Whilst working for Transman, he was responsible for leading and developing various teams to meet the requirements of the business strategy. He has a strong passion for turning around business challenges into profitable and sustainable solutions. With having strong integrity and leadership qualities, Sushil has extensive experience in an array of different fields:
• Business Management; Financial Management; Payroll bureau Management; Business process re-engineering and re-design; Training and development; Coaching and mentoring; Operations and procurement Management; Information Technology; Systems Thinking; Payroll technology systems development; Human Capital Sourcing.
Whilst at Transman, Sushil was negotiating with business leaders in the boardroom and also on the front line with his operations teams when there was Industrial action at clients. Sushil has managed and been part of the negotiation and the resolution of over 90 Industrial action strikes in his career. He can operate on a multitude of different levels at any given time. He was given the recognition by his peer and the business through various awards over his career. His favourite accolade was when he received the ‘ROCK FACE’ award for being in the front line with his teams and facing everything from Industrial action to all sorts of operational challenges.
Sushil was given the Superhero name of ‘Supacool’ whilst at Transman for being the youngest and the coolest Senior Executive on the Team.
SPECIAL ACHIEVEMENTS
Sushil has also been an Advisor to the Minister of Labour and the Commissioner for the Compensation Fund in the capacity of a Board Member at the Fund. His role included legislative and service delivery matters to member companies and employees.
Sushil has an outgoing personality and has been recognized as a strategic team member across all the organizations and structures that he has worked with and was one of the youngest Senior Executive’s at Transman. His passion for service excellence could be seen in his team of trained and competent Managers and Support staff who assisted him and the business in ensuring service excellence.
Sushil loves to travel the world and enjoys attending seminars with some of the greatest life and business coaches in the world such as Tony Robbins, Robert Kiyosaki, Robin Banks, Lisa Nichols, T. Harv Eker and Lou Tice just to name a few. His most pivotal change in his life came after travelling abroad to attend a life coaching session with Tony Robbins in 2018 and when he returned back to South Africa, he made the most life changing and bold move of resigning from his Senior position at Transman to pursue his own dreams and passion as an Entrepreneur and to help transform other businesses.
He is currently the Managing Director for Devacorp which is a Management Consulting business and has interests in other businesses.
What is a fulfilled life if you do not have loved ones who you can share it with? Sushil is married to an amazing woman and has two beautiful daughters. He loves to spend time with his family while also keeping healthy by training at the gym and playing football. He has a keen passion for people development and is committed to using his skills, experience and knowledge to develop and grow the business and his community.
